Its quite spooky how time flies, isn't it? I still think of myself as not long out of school but I'm 22 now. (Yet my mother still insisted on making a birthday cake with pink icing for me. I never even liked pink.) I can't say I ever thought I'd be married with a son by now either but I don't regret either for a second. How could I when I get to see my little boy smiling up at me when I go into his room each morning?

I thank God every day he's safe. I could so easily have lost him.

It also seems as if the year has just begun but its nearly Valentines day already. Not that that was a reminder to anyone...
Or maybe it was.

At times, it feels as if I actually have two children to look after. Its all a matter of whether James wants to be an adult or a school boy and invite his friends over for some sort of scheme without even consulting me. Isn't that right, James?

Harry's just gone down for his nap and its really very quiet here. Has anyone heard from Frank and Alice lately? I don't want to send too many owls just in case but if anyone speaks to them, give them my regards and a hello to little Neville.
